With South Africa hosting the World Cup in 2010, all eyes will be on Africa, and its love of football will be in no doubt.
The Coach Train is Coaching for Hope's response to the need for a lasting and meaningful legacy to this world famous event.
We want to create 400 new coaches in eight African countries so that hundreds more children can benefit from quality coaching and the social and community education which will help them gain new life skills and make well informed choices.
It costs us £250 to train each new coach, who can then go on to become a coach educator themselves. This ensures that the work can go on and continue to spread across communities and across borders.

Our coaches are wonderful ambassadors for the game and give their time voluntarily.
"Coaching for Hope reminds how much fun coaching is and how unique every child is." Aminata Sawadogo of Mali
"My passion is to help children in my country play football, smile every day and learn from all my new friends in the UK." Roma Traore of Burkina Faso
