Since the partnership between Coaching for Hope and adidas began in 2006, staff at the adidas office in Stockport have raised money for our work and for AMPO, the orphanage in Burkina Faso which we support. They have held two football tournaments in Manchester as well as two celebrity golf days, a social evening and several staff have completed the Flora London Marathon.

adidas have also funded two 4x4 vehicles so that we can reach remote areas of Burkina Faso and Mali. This made a huge difference and means that we can now run courses for people with very little access to coaching and HIV information. They have also donated football kit for teams and coaches in West Africa.

Football tournament

The second annual adidas football tournament was held in Preston, Lancashire in October 2009. The Coaching for Hope team participated and did us proud, finishing a respectable 4th position. Staff from adidas supported our work by making sure all the teams paid their fees and joined in the post-match celebrations! Thanks to the adidas team for their continued support and personal time they give to support our work.
