In 2007 Norman Cook travelled to Cape Town to take part in the lunch of our Southern Africa programme.  The first school attracted 30 coaches from the region who benefited from the skills and experience of England women’s coach Hope Powell.  Thanks to Norman’s participation, our work was featured in local newspapers and media.  Norman also discovered that the audience for his music is just as passionate in South Africa as it is in many other parts of the world when he did three hugely successful gigs.

Norman joined us for a charity auction at The FA's Wembley HQ in February 2010, where his father-in-law Johnny Ball acted as auctioneer. Find out more...

Norman reflects on trip to West Africa

Hear what Fatboy Slim had to say after his trip to Mali with us in 2006.
